Established in the 1970’s Complete Athlete opened its doors under the ownership of Rosie Ramos, a true trailblazer and expert in uniform and team sales. Complete Athlete serviced school districts, universities and colleges all across Texas and Louisiana. Fast forward to today and it is currently owned by Jessie Garcia, his wife Carrie Queen Garcia and their business partner David Cozad.
Family owned and operated in every sense of the word, 85% of the staff is made up of Jessie and Carrie’s sisters, nieces, nephews, brother in laws and so on. That in itself is certainly something to stand on, how many of us can say we’d love working with our family every day?! However, you can definitely feel the love as soon as you walk in the door. A” Hi, can I help you?” is always ready for you on the retail floor and Jessie and Carrie are on staff to help fill uniform orders, create a fundraiser or outfit your small business.
Jessie has been in the team sales and uniform world since 1999, starting at Complete Athlete when he was only 18 years old! Knowledgeable in equipment, brands, pricing and uniforms he is the go-to guy for outfitting your sports teams, rec leagues and individual players. Need a quote, have a question, or looking to do business with someone you’d actually like to do business with? Jessie is not only experienced, but an outstanding guy with a great personality. He’s also been in your shoes, he was an athlete growing up and he’s also coached youth baseball and basketball teams.
Carrie has been in real estate sales for 20 years, but jumped on board in 2019 when she and her husband decided to take the leap and purchase Complete Athlete. Outside all the behind the scenes duties she has taken on, Carrie is here to help guide you with personal orders, organizing fundraisers for your charity/PTA/team, and is always on the retail floor with fresh new ideas, designs and products for her favorite people..her customers. If you happen to miss her, don’t worry, she’s probably just chauffeuring their FOUR kids in between basketball and dance classes.
